After long lake days or an afternoon on the slopes, cuddle up next to the wood-burning fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa or that new novel you have been meaning to get to.

When guests build up an appetite, there will be no reason to head into town for a bite to eat with the full kitchen right at your fingertips featuring a gas range and all of the utensils needed to create gourmet meals. Plus, the private gas grill on the back deck will make whipping up a few burgers a breeze when everyone is craving a summer cookout in the fresh air!

What's nearby:
Sitting in the quiet neighborhood of Sugarloaf, you will feel like a local in no time. When you want to venture into town, make the quick three-mile drive to Big Bear proper or eight-mile drive into the heart of Big Bear Lake both offering eclectic shops, gear rental shops, restaurants, and grocery stores for all of your shopping needs. Come winter, the skiers of the group will be glad to know that Snow Summit Ski Resort is just over seven miles from home base and Bear Mountain Ski Resort is seven-and-a-half miles. Not to mention, Big Bear Lake will be the summer hit for fishing, boating, paddleboarding, and swimming!

We loved our stay! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The inside of the house is so cozy and adorable. The heater kept us all warm and comfy. It?s a really nice cabin!

Peaceful Retreat
Everything about this cabin is what you anticipate when you're trying to take a break from loud, fast paced life of LA. The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet, and a short 5 minute drive from the main hub of Big Bear. You're never too far from any activity. The cabin provides you with a cute, private place to escape to when you need to unwind. It has all of the amenities that you may need covered. This cabin was so pristine, cozy, and quaint. Everything was so thoughtful and the beds were comfy. I honestly can't wait to come back for a longer stay next time. Conveniently located and just far enough away (but not too far) from the bustle of the town, a quiet, peaceful getaway!

Everything you want in a cabin/small house
Very clean, attractive, well-appointed, comfortable cabin for a weekend stay. Very roomy, plenty of room for 6. New gas grill; beautiful fireplace; porch out front and deck out back. Kitchen, pantry, linen closet well-stocked. High-quality washer and drier. All amenities. Not much of a view but nice, quiet neighborhood. Excellent location, 15 minute drive to Bear Mountain. Market and local bar just down the street. Easy check-in and out. Was very, very pleased. Thank you!

Clean, Quite and Cozy
What a beautiful cabin! Very clean and comfortable. My favorite memories were playing board games by the fire we made and star gazing on the patio.

Cozy Sugarloaf
When on a mini Gateway to Big Bear for a Birthday celebration with some family, we couldn't be any happier with our stay! We roasted some marshmallows and watched some movies. It was a great time! We would definitely book this place again.
