Welcome to Sunny Bear Cabin, a freshly renovated two-bedroom mountain retreat just 1 minute from Bear Mountain and 5 minutes from Snow Summit. With a fire pit, hammock, outdoor deck, games, and a cozy single-level layout, this charming cabin is an inviting home base for couples, small families, and friends looking to enjoy Big Bear in every season. Step inside and settle into classic mountain comfort. Natural knotty pine beams, large picture windows, and warm cabin details create a welcoming atmosphere, while the fireplace provides the perfect place to cozy up after skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring Big Bear.

Relax with a movie as you watch the snow fall outside, spend some quality time together over games, or simply slow down and enjoy a peaceful evening at the cabin. The fully equipped kitchen makes meals at home easy, with cookware and everyday essentials for preparing everything from a quick breakfast before heading to Bear Mountain to dinner after a full day of adventures. A dining table and breakfast bar provide comfortable seating for meals together.

The convenient single-level layout features two bedrooms and one full hallway bathroom. Bedroom 1 offers a queen bed, while Bedroom 2 features two twin-over-full bunk sets. The property accommodates a maximum of four guests, making it especially well suited to smaller groups who want a little extra room to spread out. Outside, Sunny Bear Cabin gives you plenty of ways to enjoy Big Bear’s mountain setting. Relax on the sunny deck with patio furnishings, fire up the propane BBQ for dinner, stretch out in the hammock, or gather around the fire pit for a laid-back evening beneath the mountain sky.

Location is another standout. Bear Mountain is just 1 minute away and Snow Summit is approximately 5 minutes away. The cabin is also conveniently located near the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, Bear Mountain Golf Course, and mountain biking, giving you easy access to outdoor adventures throughout the year.

What a wonderful stay!
The house was just as described. Sunny Bear was cozy, clean and just the mountain cabin we were looking for. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend this house! Two weeks before we didn't think we'd have snow and then we had snow! It was close to everything and it was a perfect long weekend getaway. we will book it again for sure. It was just the two of us. Sometimes you just get lucky and this was one of those times. Thank you!
