Description Description
Ski View Chalet | Near Bear Mountain + Zoo

Escape to Ski View Chalet, a freshly renovated two-bedroom mountain retreat tucked into a private hillside setting in Big Bear’s desirable Moonridge neighborhood. Perfect for couples and small families, this cozy single-level chalet accommodates up to three guests and puts you especially close to Bear Mountain Resort and the Alpine Zoo, with year-round Big Bear activities just a few minutes away by car. Step inside to a warm and inviting living space filled with classic mountain character. Beamed knotty pine ceilings and wood accents pair with large windows that bring in natural light and beautiful alpine views. Settle into the comfortable couch and warm up beside the wood-burning stove after a day on the mountain, or enjoy a relaxed movie night on the mounted flat-screen streaming TV. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property, while guests can access their favorite streaming services using their own accounts.

The open floor plan flows naturally into the cozy bistro-style dining area and equipped kitchen, making it easy to spend time together throughout your stay. Oak cabinetry is stocked with cookware and utensils, while ample counter space and general appliances provide everything needed to prepare quick breakfasts, slope-side snacks, or relaxed dinners back at the cabin. Step directly from the kitchen onto the outdoor deck, where you can start the morning with coffee surrounded by the peaceful mountain setting or fire up the propane BBQ after a day of exploring Big Bear. During snowy winter stays, the private hillside offers an added bonus—on-property sledding when conditions allow, giving guests another fun way to enjoy the mountain without leaving the cabin.

The convenient single-level layout keeps both bedrooms and the full hallway bathroom easily accessible. The first bedroom features two twin beds, while the second offers a comfortable queen bed. Fresh linens, blankets, pillows, and shower towels are prepared for your arrival, making this compact mountain retreat an easy and comfortable home base for your Big Bear getaway. When you're ready to explore, Ski View Chalet's central Moonridge location keeps Bear Mountain Resort and the Alpine Zoo especially close, with other local activities just a few minutes away by car. From skiing and snowboarding to golf, hiking, biking, and year-round mountain adventures, this cozy hillside cabin puts you in a convenient location for experiencing Big Bear in every season.
