Shore Acres Lodge #452

Shore Acres Lodge | Lakefront Group Getaway

Discover the charm of Shore Acres Lodge, a historic lakefront retreat offering an incredible setting for large groups along the shoreline of Big Bear Lake. Set across two pine-shaded lakefront acres, this unique property brings together all twelve mountain-style cabins to accommodate up to 63 guests. With breathtaking lake views, direct lake access, shared recreational amenities, and Big Bear Village and local marinas within walking distance, Shore Acres Lodge is an exceptional choice for family reunions, group vacations, retreats, gatherings, and memorable mountain escapes.

Originally known as Potters Camp in the early 1900s, Shore Acres has welcomed generations of Big Bear visitors while maintaining the rustic charm of a classic mountain lodge. Reserving the complete lodge gives your group access to twelve individual cabins, allowing everyone to stay together on one property while still enjoying the privacy and flexibility of separate accommodations. Each cottage provides modern essentials and the comforts of home, creating an ideal setup for families, couples, and friends traveling together.

Spend your mornings taking in beautiful views of Big Bear Lake or head just steps from the cabins to the shoreline. A seasonal shared boat dock and fishing area make it easy to enjoy the lake, while the summertime community swimming pool offers another place to cool off on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Back on land, the group can enjoy horseshoes, volleyball, outdoor table tennis, and a kids swing set.

With twelve cabins spread throughout the property, Shore Acres provides plenty of room to gather as well as space to spread out. Relax on the lake-view decks, spend time together around the group patio area, or enjoy an outdoor meal at the large BBQ and picnic area using the provided charcoal BBQ. High-speed Wi-Fi and flat-screen streaming TVs add modern convenience, while onsite trash disposal and ample flat year-round parking make hosting a large group easier.

The location makes exploring Big Bear just as convenient. Shore Acres Lodge is within walking distance of Big Bear Village and local marinas, putting dining, shopping, entertainment, and lake activities close to your group. After a day of adventures, return to your lakefront setting to relax beneath the pines, gather by the water, and enjoy the atmosphere of this historic Big Bear property.
