Resting Falcon | Hot Tub + Mountain Views

Escape to the mountains at Resting Falcon Retreat, a welcoming three-bedroom, two-bath Big Bear cabin surrounded by towering pines and beautiful mountain scenery. With accommodations for up to eight guests, a private hot tub, spacious deck, fireplace, and a convenient location near Bear Mountain and year-round outdoor recreation, this inviting retreat is ready for family vacations, couples getaways, and trips with friends. Inside, rustic mountain charm meets comfortable vacation living with natural wood accents, cozy furnishings, and large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. The open-concept living area gives everyone a comfortable place to gather after a day outdoors, while the fireplace creates the perfect mountain atmosphere for movie nights, hot cocoa, and relaxing evenings at home.

The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed to prepare meals throughout your stay. Start the morning with a hearty breakfast before heading to the slopes, pack up for an afternoon at Big Bear Lake, or return home for a relaxed family dinner. The adjoining dining area provides plenty of space for meals, games, and time together. Three bedrooms are arranged across two levels of the cabin. The entry-level bedroom features a queen bed and streaming TV. Upstairs, the second bedroom offers a king bed, streaming TV, and balcony, while the third bedroom features a Single/Full bunk bed, streaming TV, and its own balcony. Two full bathrooms—one on each level—provide additional convenience for families and groups.

Outside is where Resting Falcon truly embraces the Big Bear experience. Step onto the spacious deck and take in the surrounding pines and mountain views, enjoy your morning coffee in the crisp alpine air, or fire up the grill for an evening barbecue. After a day of skiing, hiking, or exploring, sink into the private hot tub and unwind beneath the mountain sky.

The cabin's location makes it easy to experience Big Bear throughout the seasons. Bear Mountain and Snow Summit provide skiing and snowboarding during winter, while nearby hiking and biking trails, Big Bear Lake, shops, restaurants, and family-friendly activities offer plenty to explore when the snow melts.
