Juniper Cabin | Lake Access + Walk to Village

Escape to Juniper Cabin at Shore Acres Lodge, a cozy one-bedroom cottage for two set within a historic two-acre, pine-shaded lakefront property on Big Bear Lake. With a comfortable king bed, shared direct lake access, and Big Bear Village and local marinas within walking distance, this charming retreat makes an inviting home base for a romantic weekend or year-round mountain getaway.

Originally known as Potters Camp in the early 1900s, Shore Acres Lodge is a unique collection of twelve mountain-style cabins surrounded by towering pines along the shoreline of Big Bear Lake. Juniper Cabin gives you the privacy of your own cottage while providing access to the shared lakefront spaces and recreational amenities throughout this historic Big Bear property.

Inside, the intimate 435-square-foot cabin provides a comfortable place to recharge between adventures. The bedroom features a king bed, while a hallway three-quarter bathroom with a stand-up shower completes the accommodations. High-speed Wi-Fi and a flat-screen streaming TV add modern convenience when you're ready to settle in for a relaxing evening.

Step outside and make the most of Shore Acres Lodge's lakefront setting. Guests enjoy shared direct access to Big Bear Lake along with a seasonal boat dock and fishing area. During summer, the community swimming pool is available on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day, giving you another way to relax and enjoy sunny mountain afternoons.

Beyond the shoreline, the spacious grounds offer plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors. Play horseshoes, volleyball, or outdoor table tennis, relax among the pines, or prepare an easy meal at the large BBQ and picnic area using the provided charcoal BBQ. One pet is welcome with an additional fee, allowing your four-legged companion to join you for the Big Bear adventure.

Best of all, Juniper Cabin puts Big Bear Village and local marinas within walking distance. Spend your day exploring the lake, restaurants, shops, and entertainment before returning to the peaceful setting of Shore Acres for a laid-back evening among the pines.

Thank you for a great time!
Hi we had the Juniper cabin, it was great, clean, comfortable, had a patio, even a pool, volleyball net, picnic tables, and steps from the lake. It was warm, peaceful, under the trees. Big Bear Vacations was great, very organized and helpful, Freddy helped a lot and always answered any questions very fast.

Clean and Comfy cabin
Was very clean and comfortable Everything went well for the most part. It did take a little longer for me to find the cabin. Google maps took me to a place just outside of the property, and there were no signs for where cabin 5 was.

Great little getaway!
Great stay for just two people! A little getaway from the city, peaceful at night, and close to the town to get food and meander around. Love that it is walking distance from the lake, and has all the amenities described to use. Pool was functioning for the weekend which was a plus! The home does have the bare minimum, like only two sets of towels and if you need replacements, you would need to drive about 10 minutes to the office to do an exchange. The water heater was our problem but quick texts and they were able to come to fix it! Overall a great location for a getaway! Hi! Thank you for the quick responses for our problems. I think some hooks would be nice in the bedroom or living/common area since it is a small cabin, just to help hang things. Towels for the pool. Overall it was great but maybe some of the recommendations I listed would make it better for the next people!
