Welcome to Jay Bird Landing Escape- our furnished and spacious two story retreat offers the perfect destination for a group of friends or family to getaway together to make lifelong memories under soaring pine trees any time of the year. This private fenced property sits right along the Big Bear Airport and is within a quick stroll to the Oktoberfest or a short ten minute car ride to local ski resorts and lake activities. Enjoy soaking your muscles in the private hot tub after a fun day of adventure out on the lake or mountain- this packed chalet truly has it all! 

Enter your cozy lower level living room where you are greeted with gorgeous hardwood floors and big open windows that provide the perfect balance of natural lighting and views of nearby aircraft landing on the runway. Snuggle up here on the comfy couch as you warm your toes together in front of the toasty wood burning fireplace and enjoy a movie on the mounted flat screen Streaming TV with complimentary hi speed WIFI internet provided for your enjoyment. (Guests must have their own accounts to enjoy Streaming Services.) Around the corner from here is your equipped mountain kitchen offering a beautiful breakfast island and dining bar along with cookware, utensils, general appliances, and even a dishwasher to ensure your cleanup here is an absolutely breeze. A convenient wine bar with mini fridge and half bath adds to the enjoyment here on the lower entry level of your chalet. 

Head upstairs to access two oversized sleeping quarters including a guest room and the spacious primary suite which offers a private balcony and full bathroom along with reclaimed wood accents, plenty of storage space, and fresh bedding. Your chalet is made up for your arrival with warm linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh bath towels for your group's visit when you arrive. Head out back to the great fenced yard to enjoy patio furnishings and a propane BBQ where you can grill up your freshly caught dinner from the lake as you unwind in the evenings. Lovely Stay!

Wonderful for everyone!
This place was such a vibe! Everything was absolutely stunning — from the decor to the cozy atmosphere. It was the perfect weekend getaway to shred the slopes and relax afterward. Couldn't ask for a better spot. We'll definitely be coming back!

We absolutely loved this place.
We absolutely loved this place! It was everything we could have asked for in a airbnb. The hosts were fabulous as soon as we walked in didn't want to leave! Everything was perfect down to the decor. We will definitely be coming back for sure!

Great Memories!
This place was so nice to stay at! As soon as we walked in we fell in love with the decorations, We are so glad how clean it was. We celebrated Fathers Day here at Big Bear, it was amazing and we especially loved the Jacuzzi.

Enjoyable stay!
The view was amazing by looking from the kitchen window. Love the hot tubas well. Staying here for the very first time was enjoyable and amazing. I would stay here again during the winter and summer, Last thing, I love how the place looks, Giving this a 10/10 would stay here again.

Perfect getaway!!
Jaybird Landing was perfect for our family, we recently got married and wanted to do a family vacation. We are so glad we found this place. Our kids are small, and it was perfect for them, they loved it! Would definitely stay here again. Very clean and spacious. Loved the backyard 10 out of 10 :)

The Perfect Spot!
Jay Birds Landing was the perfect spot for our family!! This place was comfortable, cozy and warm. We brought a 2-year-old and everything in the house was safe and fun. Our kids played games and enjoyed the jacuzzi. Thank you for the hospitality -we will definitely be back!! 10/10

Cleanest cabin we have stayed in! Beautiful decor. So close to the village and all shops. The cabin was so warm and cozy and welcoming. My family and I were so happy. This cabin had everything we needed to be able to enjoy nights in- stocked kitchen with cookware, hot tub, fire pit, built in bbq, board games, screened in porch and beautiful backyard area to sit and enjoy the chilly weather. Perfect cabin if you have pets! So relaxing there. We will be back and can't wait!

Loved this cabin!
We loved the place. However, the only negative was that the beds were not king beds as described and the master bedroom was extremely firm so we did not get good sleep. Side note, the wall heater is temperamental.

First time at Big Bear and I loved it
Honestly, this was my first time at Big Bear and I got to say my experience there was amazing. The part that made it easy was the Airbnb that I stayed at. This place made me feel at home, especially with all the amenities it had to offer, one of my personal favorites was the Jacuzzi and the grill. There was a small issue that came up during my stay, which was the backlights by the jacuzzi. Big Bear Vacations was able to send someone out to the home to fix the issue, They weren't able to fix it, but the guy who came was very helpful and ended up finding out that one of the lights was out, which made all the lights in the specific area not turn on. If you're concerned about the noise coming from the airport at night, well, don't worry because it's very peaceful and quiet at night. But I would say during the midday, it could get pretty active and noisy. Overall, I would rate my stay at this Airbnb, a 10 out of 10 because of cleanliness, amenities, and location. Totally worth it!

Family Vacation!
My partner and our four kids booked our vacation this summer in this property, this was such a great experience. It beat our expectations, and we were all so excited. This home had everything needed and more!
