Bring the whole crew to Fawnskin Chalet, a spacious dual-unit mountain retreat designed for families, friends, and multi-family getaways in Big Bear’s peaceful North Shore community. With two separate wings, two kitchens, multiple living and dining areas, a private hot tub, game room, fenced backyard, and dedicated dog run, this unique property gives groups the rare combination of space to gather and privacy when they want it. Set among towering pines with treetop views overlooking the Big Bear eagle habitat associated with Jackie and Shadow, the chalet offers a peaceful setting close to some of Fawnskin’s best outdoor recreation. Big Bear Lake is less than a mile away, Fawnskin Marina and historic downtown Fawnskin are within walking distance, and hiking trails and OHV routes are nearby.

The chalet’s standout feature is its flexible duplex-style design. Two separate entrances lead to east and west wings, each featuring its own full kitchen, dining area, living space, and bathroom facilities. A central family room connects the spaces, allowing larger groups to spend time together while still having separate areas to spread out. Both kitchens feature oak cabinetry, full appliances, and dishwashers, making meal preparation especially convenient for extended families or groups. Multiple living spaces offer flat-screen TVs, decorative fireplaces, large windows, and access to outdoor decks overlooking the surrounding forest and treetops.

Sleeping arrangements are spread between both wings, with four bedrooms plus two loft-style sleeping areas. The East Wing includes a loft with a twin-over-full bunk, a queen bedroom with Jack-and-Jill bathroom access, and an additional bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk. The West Wing features a loft with a twin-over-twin bunk, a queen bedroom with Jack-and-Jill bathroom access, and another bunk room with twin-over-twin accommodations. Four full bathrooms—including two downstairs hallway bathrooms and two upstairs Jack-and-Jill bathrooms—help larger groups get ready comfortably.
