Castle Rock Cabin #1 ~ Comfortable cabin with modern amenities and deck - near hiking and lake

This updated Big Bear cabin is perfect for small families and close groups of friends. You'll have a spacious deck with forest views and fresh air, while free WiFi, cable on the flatscreen TV, a wood-burning stove, and a full modern kitchen are back inside.

From the shared social spaces to the comfy guest bedroom and main bedroom featuring pull-out side tables and gorgeous cabinetry, this cabin is perfect for weekend, week-long, or extended getaways in the mountains!

Castle Rock Cabin is a quick walk from hiking at Castle Rock Trail 1W03 and amazing views of the lake at the trail's summit. Boulder Bay Park features kayaking and canoeing a half mile to the east, with seasonal waterslides and bobsledding on Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain a mile-and-a-half farther. Drive a short 3 miles and you'll reach the shops and restaurants of Big Bear Village.

This cabin can be rented with the cabin next door, Castle Rock Cabin #2.

I work for this family and maintain a few things around the property. The owners take wonderful care of this place and have a history with the properties. I love staying up here, such a great place either cabin.

Great Boulder Bay Cabin near the Castle Rock Trail
The cabin was up to date with modern appliances, but yet rustic with the wood paneling, pot belly stove, and Rams head. It is only a couple of blocks or so from the Castle Rock hiking trail and within walking distance to the lake.

Great Cabin for Vacationing.
We enjoyed the stay at this cabin mostly because of the relaxing enviroment, it is well placed in a calm community. It is close to the highway and castle rock trail which has an amazing view. Boulder bay park is also close with an amazing sunset view at the lake. The cabin is very clean and well stocked, it has everything you need to stay for days.

Great Family cabin
My family of five stayed at this cabin over the weekend to celebrate my birthday and we had a great time!

I loved the updated design of the cabin. The interior was very clean and well stocked. The linens and towels throughout were very clean. I was impressed how nicely the beds were made and how organized the bathrooms were. Hotel quality.

The surrounding neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Another review mentioned that the house is along side Big Bear Blvd and a little noisy

Great Cabin at Big Bear Lake!
This place is great, we've stayed many times, both summer and winter. The location is excellent, close to downtown Big Bear and right next to the Castle Rock hiking trail. You can also walk up to Boulder Bay park! We love it, super clean and nice!

This house is perfect for a getaway! Very clean. Close to hiking trails. Fully stocked and it was clear that they followed COVID guidelines and everything was ver clean. This house fits a family of four perfectly!
