Shore Acres Lodge was originally known as Potters Camp in the early 1900s and today features twelve mountain-style cabins surrounded by towering pines along the shoreline of Big Bear Lake. Big Pines gives you the privacy and simplicity of your own cottage while also providing access to the shared lakefront spaces and recreational amenities found throughout this historic property.

Inside, the intimate 325-square-foot studio offers everything needed for a comfortable couples getaway. A king bed provides a relaxing place to recharge after a day exploring Big Bear, while the three-quarter bathroom features a stand-up shower. High-speed Wi-Fi and a flat-screen streaming TV add modern convenience for quiet evenings back at the cabin.

Just outside your cottage, take advantage of Shore Acres Lodge's beautiful lakefront setting. Guests enjoy shared direct access to Big Bear Lake, along with a seasonal boat dock and fishing area for making the most of days by the water. During summer, the shared community swimming pool is available on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The pictures are exactly what you get!
It was clean, comfortable, pool, hot tub, and we enjoyed our time there. Careful if you are tall, bc the ceiling fan is dangerous.

Cabin was clean well supplied :)
Cabin was clean well supplied. The upgrades to the kitchen and bathroom are excellent., in every way, Stephanie and Ramla are excellent customer service providers. Can't think of much to change. I'd recommend some bigger plates dinner plates in the kitchen. The shower supplies are so pleasant to smell, the shampoo, conditioner and body scrub. I'd recommend putting in a larger towel rack on the bathroom door and maybe a couple more hooks to hang clothing on the wall to the left of the bathroom door.

Enjoyable time at this property
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Big Bear. This cabin was within walking distance of the lake and very close to food and shopping. The staff was amazing in communication and worked with us on our arrival.

Not bad for the price!
We really enjoyed our stay here at big pines. The cabin was small but very comfortable and worth the price. Loved how close it was located to the lake. The service was great from all staff. And would definitely recommend this cabin for couple or anyone on a lone adventure. Will definitely be coming back!
