The main-level bedroom offers a queen bed with an upgraded bathroom nearby, and the loft sleeping area provides plenty of space and flexibility for kids or groups. Great family Christmas sharing!
This cabin was fully equipped, very comfortable, cozy and had a lot of activities (board games). The deck was pretty equipped with fire place and barbecue as well as enough seating place for everyone. We really enjoyed it and it was inviting to stay inside and have a great family Christmas sharing. Thank you!!!

Nice home for the family
It was a nice place for the weekend for three adults and two kids. However it is not super child friendly for those under 3. The stairs are incredibly steep. The yard is not fenced in. However, local contact was incredibly responsive and attentive.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stylish, Cozy, and Perfect for Families
We had the most amazing stay at Balboa at Big Bear! It felt like our home away from home. We were so incredibly comfortable there. The house was newly renovated, beautifully decorated and very clean. The homeowners have incredible taste - the home felt like we were in the pages of a West Elm magazine! The loft was a kid’s paradise - bunk beds, a large screen TV, shuffleboard and the largest, most comfy beanbag chair we have ever seen (our whole family could literally cozy up on it)!!! Every detail was thought of … the beds were so comfortable and perfect for our sore bodies after a day of skiing, the towels were fluffy and soft, there were board games and puzzles for the kiddos, a RECORD PLAYER (so fun), tons of extra warm and cozy blankets; it was an amazing place. We couldn’t wait to get back to the house after hitting the slopes! This will 💯 be our go to house each and every time we visit Big Bear! I had a wonderful stay at The Balboa at Big Bear! The property was spotless and beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, offering the perfect blend of relaxation and nature. An amazing home away from home!
My husband and I went up to Big Bear for Labor Day weekend and it was so nice and relaxing while also being so much fun! My husband loved the balconies attached to the upstairs master bedroom. I loved the attention to detail with all the aesthetic decor throughout the house! We both absolutely loved the property location because it was very private. So when I came to using the hot tub, it was so much fun and you didn?t feel like people are watching you. We also really enjoyed the shuffle board, outdoor fire

Balboa Retreat
Amazing rental. From getting in to the rental to all the amenities available. Everything is thought of all the way down to If you get snow they even have sleds available to use. Amazing hosts. Property was so beautiful. Updated and well kept. Neat and very clean for our arrival. Plenty of room if you plan on having a larger number of people. Great location to all the amenities. Less than 20 min away from the Village. Less than 10 from the ski hill or the grocery store.

The Balboa house is a fabulous Home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. You can tell the upgrades are fresh and new and very tastefully done. From the cozy fireplace to the spa outside to the well stocked and modern kitchen and comfy furniture. He felt like we were checking into a nice hotel, but had a gigantic house to roll around in.

Great Weekend
There was nothing wrong or amiss with the house. More amenities then we could use. Very warm and cozy. Vacasa was very attentive to our needs at the beginning and when we told them we were great they left us alone to enjoy our weekend. We never had to call them to address any issue.

Awesome Cabin!
What an incredible stay at this Cabin. The game loft was great for the kids and the layout worked perfectly to entertain during our stay. We love the fact it?s on a culdasac and the kids were able to get a pickup game of baseball out front. The home was clean and the mountain-modern decor helped deliver the perfect experience. Start of Summer Kick-off
The home was exactly as pictured. Sometimes you get there and find out that the pictures were a bit deceiving. This was not the case at Balboa Big Bear. We were so very well pleased and it was the perfect weekend to the start of our summer. Everything was seamless. Thank you for such a great stay. We hope to be back. The kids loved the record player as so did we! :)

We’ve Rented cabins in big bear about six times in the past and this is by far our favorite one! Very clean, roomy, Family friendly, Everything in working order, well put together, and every consideration has been taken to ensure your enjoyment and comfort. The furnishings and amenities seem new and they did not disappoint. As someone else said, do you feel like you’re walking into a Joss & Main showroom! This house is so cozy and homey, we did not want to leave! The second you walk through the door, you get the feel of an instant "home away from home". Best Family Vacation Ever!!!
We had the most amazing stay at Balboa at Big Bear! It felt like our home away from home. We were so incredibly comfortable there. The house was newly renovated, beautifully decorated and very clean. The homeowners have incredible taste - the home felt like we were in the pages of a West Elm magazine! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Stay with Thoughtful Details and Responsive Hosts
This house is so cute and beautifully decorated with modern touches while still feeling cozy. The rental company was amazing, constantly checking in on us and responsive to any requests. The location is great - with easy access to either Snow Summit or Bear Mountain. It's on a quiet cul de sac, so would be good for people with children. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Perfect Blend of Comfort, Fun, and Relaxation.
Right from the moment you walk in the door you can see the care and detail that was put into this beautiful home. It has all the special touches to make you feel at home. It was nicely decorated and had everything we could possibly need! A great loft area with giant tv, shuffleboard, Nintendo for kids or teens and a large size bunk bed. The upstairs and downstairs beds in the bedrooms were also super comfy. Bathrooms had all the toiletries you would need. Fireplace, record player, and games in the game closet for all ages! It was super clean and felt so homey. Great big jacuzzi outside was an extra bonus to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. We can’t wait to come back. Such a beautiful house! The decorations and attention to details really spoke to us. We loved everything about it- the closeness to the slopes, shops and restaurants ; the peacefulness; being that it was newly renovated and the fact that it was stocked up with everything you may ever need. LOCATION was the BEST! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Big Bear Escape
We had an incredibly comfortable stay at Balboa at Big Bear. We were welcomed by the smell of a freshly cleaned house and beautiful, updated décor. The house looks even better in person and the location is close to everything in Big Bear. We enjoyed the retro vibes of the record player, the VHS system complete with classic movies, and the old school game console and then got back to watching the game on the smart TVs. Our favorite part was the 2nd story balcony with hammocks and a gas fire pit which made for ideal family time stargazing with hot chocolate. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom layout is great for families or friends. The house is filled with everything you need for a fun getaway.
