Be a Meals on Wheels Driver in Big Bear

Give back to the Big Bear community this season by volunteering as a delivery driver for Bear Valley Meals on Wheels! Every Monday through Friday — including holidays — this incredible local nonprofit delivers in-home meals to residents who cannot get out on their own. All volunteer positions are filled by caring community members just like you, and every donation goes directly toward feeding approximately 30 to 40 recipients each day.

The best part? Volunteers typically commit less than 2 hours per week and choose their own schedule. Whether you can help once a week or a few times a month, every delivery makes a real difference in someone's life. Winter drivers are especially needed when Big Bear's mountain roads make getting around more difficult for seniors and homebound residents.
